Adrien Tyberghein Trio featured on France 3 ahead of Tourcoing Jazz Festival!
As part of the Tourcoing Jazz Festival, Adrien Tyberghein and Nathan Pรฉron were recently invited to France 3 Nord Pas-de-Calais to take part in a programme dedicated to the festival. A great opportunity to discover the world of bassist and composer Adrien Tyberghein, as well as the new project of his trio: ODYSSEY.
Joined by Nathan Pรฉron on piano and Bastien Chauvon on drums and marimba, Adrien Tyberghein creates a true sonic journey with ODYSSEY. The project brings together contemporary jazz, classical music, oral traditions and rhythmic influences, in an approach where the boundaries between genres gradually dissolve.
At the heart of this exploration, the double bass becomes an instrument of transformation. Through bowing, pizzicato and extended techniques, Adrien Tyberghein moves seamlessly between rhythms, melodies, textures and percussive sounds. Nathan Pรฉronโs piano and Bastien Chauvonโs percussion further enrich this constantly evolving musical universe, shaped by attentive listening, transitions and sound design.
Following their appearance on France 3, Adrien Tyberghein Trio will present ODYSSEY at the Tourcoing Jazz Festival on Tuesday, October 13, 2026 at 6:30 PM, at Maison Folie Hospice dโHavrรฉ.
The concert is part of this yearโs festival programme, bringing together a diverse selection of artists from the contemporary jazz scene.
