Driss El Maloumi is one of the most compelling oud players of his generation. For this special evening at Flagey, he brings together the Brussels-based Watar Quintet for a programme that moves between Berber tradition, Mediterranean warmth and chamber music refinement.
Joining them on stage: Ballakรฉ Sissoko (3MA) on kora and Vardan Hovanissian on duduk; two musicians who need no introduction in the world music scene.
