Didier Laloy and Adrien Tyberghein, two outstanding musicians, form a duo born of the desire to combine two seemingly opposing universes: so-called “serious” music and “light” music.
Their duo breaks the stylistic boundaries by mixing traditional music, classical music, rock and electronic music. Their repertoire consists of original music revealing all the richness of this collaboration. From crazy rhythms to expressive melodies, these compositions take the audience to the crossroads of different worlds.
Didier dreamed of being able to shake hands with a conductor when coming on stage. Adrien dreamed of improvising on traditional themes from elsewhere. Their dreams came true in this atypical, visceral and definitely rock-influenced duo.

Biography of Didier Laloy
Didier Laloy began playing the diatonic accordion at the age of 13 and participated in numerous workshops with Bruno Le Tron, Marc Perrone and Jean-Pierre Yvert. Didier Laloy has been considered for several years as one of the most active representatives of the diatonic accordion revival in Europe. Didier’s ease on stage, his ability to approach all musical genres, his human qualities make him a much sought-after musician (he has played on no less than 150 albums).
Didier also remains one of the most creative figures of his generation. Constantly on the move, his universe draws its strength from an endless generosity. He is at the base of several creations/groups among which : [Po-Z]s, Noir’s, Couturière, S-Tres, Samuraï, Trio Trad, Tref, Belem & The Mekanics…
Biography of Adrien Tyberghein
Musician and composer, Adrien Tyberghein’s career is characterized by his eclecticism, his openness and his anchoring in modernity. Adrien began music at the age of 6, he graduated from the prestigious Conservatoire National de Musique et de Danse de Paris, the Conservatoire Royal de Mons and the Didier Lockwood school. He also trained at the Studio National des Arts Contemporains – Le Fresnoy. He won several prizes during his career as a musician (named “soloist rising star” in Belgium, “Young Talent of the Year”, etc.). Adrien’s insatiable curiosity leads him to explore a wide range of musical styles: baroque, romantic, contemporary, electronic, world music and jazz. Adrien has collaborated with renowned ensembles, musicians and festivals such as the Opéra National de Paris, the Orchestre Philharmonique de Radio France, the Ensemble Intercontemporain, the Musiques Nouvelles ensemble, the Easter Festival, etc.).
These projects and encounters have led him to find his own path and to devote himself exclusively to solo and chamber bass, as well as to composition. His innovative recitals mix classical music, world music, jazz, improvisation and work based on new technologies. Each recital is a unique story and builds a bridge between tradition and modernity. In 2020, Adrien writes, directs and composes “Seul Contre Basse”, a solo, transdisciplinary project mixing music, theatre, dance, video and installation. He regularly collaborates with Didier Laloy, Quentin Dujardin, the Artie’s ensemble, Christophe Delporte, etc. He teaches double bass and Specialized Methodology (applied pedagogy) at the Institut Supérieur de Musique et de Pédagogie de Namur (IMEP) and at the Conservatoire à Rayonnement Départemental de Tourcoing.
