The Belgian folk and world music scene has an exciting new act to watch: Astridin Experience, the brand-new project led by accordionist Didier Laloy, one of the most inventive and generous musicians of his generation.
For this festive and warm-hearted venture, Laloy gathers four long-time musical companions: Perry Rose, a Belgian-Irish singer-songwriter with a gift for folk and pop, Verรณnica Codesal (Ialma, Urban Trad) on vocals and percussion with her vibrant Galician flair, Adrien Tyberghein (Dyad) on double bass, and Damien Chierici (Dan San, Kowari) on violin. Together, they reimagine each other’s most iconic songs with freedom, energy and a deep sense of musical joy.
And what better occasion to discover them than the Fรชte de la Musique? On June 19th in Namur, Astridin Experience will take the stage for what promises to be a lively, generous and unforgettable set. Folk, world music, improvisation, top-tier artistic chemistry, all the ingredients are there for a truly great evening.
