Astridin Experience

Didier Laloy is one of the most inventive diatonic accordion players of his generation, and a key figure on the Belgian folk and world music scene. Throughout his career, he has multiplied collaborations and artistic adventures, always pushing boundaries and exploring new sounds.

With Astridin Experience, he brings together long-time companions: Perry Rose, Verónica Codesal (Ialma), Adrien Tyberghein (Dyad), and Damien Chierici (Dan San, Kowari).
As master of ceremonies, Laloy invites the audience on a festive and generous journey through each artist’s most iconic songs, reimagined with the energy and freedom that define him.


Biography of Didier Laloy

Didier Laloy is a Belgian accordionist and composer whose music blends folk traditions, improvisation and modernity. Since his beginnings, he has multiplied projects and collaborations – from folk dances to the duo Dyad with Adrien Tyberghein, to chamber ensembles (Dyad & String Quartet) and Didier Laloy Symphonic. Renowned for his virtuosity and creativity, he turns every chord into a rich and surprising musical experience.


Biography of Perry Rose

A Belgian-Irish singer and songwriter, Perry Rose blends his Celtic roots with warm pop and folk writing. Revealed in 1991 with his first EP Because of You, he has since released several albums praised for their melodic sense and poetic depth. A passionate live performer, he has played over 400 concerts across Europe. Between gentleness and energy, his music celebrates connection, travel and shared emotion.


Biography of Verónica Codesal

Of Galician origin, Verónica Codesal has shown since a very young age her love for Galician dance, singing, and music at the Centro Galego de Bruxelas. She is a founding member of the group Ialma, and also part of Urban Trad, the band that nearly led Belgium to victory at the 2003 Eurovision Song Contest. Through all her artistic activities, she has always sought to highlight Galician culture and language


Biography of Adrien Tyberghein

Double bassist, composer and improviser, Adrien Tyberghein moves between classical music, jazz, world music and contemporary sound creation. He leads the solo project Seul Contre Basse and performs in the duo Dyad with Didier Laloy, Water & Fire and the ensemble Musiques Nouvelles. His concerts tell stories where the double bass becomes a true bridge between tradition and experimentation.


Biography of Damien Chierici

Damien Chierici is a Belgian violinist, composer and arranger whose music lies at the crossroads of classical, folk and neo-classical styles. A member of groups such as OOOTOKO, Dan San and Kowari, he stands out for his inventive approach to the violin and his collaborations with numerous Belgian artists. His encounter with accordionist Didier Laloy marked a decisive turning point in his career, leading to several major projects such as Duplex, Yule and 100 Voltas.
